Enerven is involved in various 5G trial installations and has the expertise to work on all of the infrastructure networks that might be used for small cell installation. Optical Ground Wire

Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) is a type of cable conductor that is used in High-Voltage overhead powerlines, combining the functions of grounding and communications. The optical fibres within this cable are primarily used for the monitoring and control of electrical utilities infrastructure but can also be used to transmit voice and data Our skilled field staff are all experienced in OPGW enclosure preparation and splicing. Enerven CNS have delivered over 1,000kms of OPGW splicing and testing on numerous projects throughout the states of South Australia and Victoria.

LIDAR

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an innovative modern technology, used for 3D mapping, asset capture, and engineering surveys.  Enerven operates a number of LiDAR systems, including a mobile scanner for road mapping and rapid asset capture. Enerven’s ability to interpret and analyse the date makes LiDAR a valuable tool to accelerate network planning, and is especially suited for 5G where it can create extremely detailed and accurate 3D models of urban environments

Blown and Water Jetted Fibre
Blown and Water Jetted Fibre
Water Jetted cables are most often used in installations where the pit spacing is up to 4kms apart. Multiple carriers can share one fibre sheath, but they can also break their own tubes into individual splicing pits. This means that cables can be redirected by simply connecting the tubes! We have an expert team who are trained and experienced in the installation of water-jetted cables, and bundled blown fibre. With projects delivered for SA Power Networks and ElectraNet, we have installed over 180kms of water jetted cable, easily making us specialists in this field.
